The Mighty Warriors
The Mighty Warriors will square off with Zambia in the African Women Cup of Nations qualifiers and the Zimbabwe Football association is pleading with fans to come and watch the match to be played at Rufaro Stadium on Wednesday 06 April.
After knocking out Tanzania, Zimbabwe is now looking forward to dump Zambia out of the qualifiers and proceed to the next round.
ZIFA Communications manager Xolisani Gwesela is urging the fans to come in their large numbers to support the team.
“We would like to urge all football fans to come in their numbers and support the Mighty Warriors as they continue with their quest to appear at another big tournament when they face Zambia,” said Gwesela.
“The team is playing well at the moment and they could use the help and support of passionate football fans like the on previous game against Tanzania,” added Gwesela.
He also encouraged the fans to come in their numbers since the tickets are very affordable.
“The gate charges are $1 for the rest of the grounds, $ 3 for the upper grand stand and $ 5 VIP. We need the supporters to rally behind the team as they push for qualification,” concluded Gwesela.
Mighty Warriors remain unbeaten under Coach Shadreck Mlauzi and are looking forward to continue their streak by beating Zambia.
