How Mine FC hosts new comers from Southern Division One league Bulawayo FC at White City Stadium in what can be dubbed mini derby. Both teams will be in clash to win fans as both teams are from the same city. The match will be played on Friday at 1500hrs and will be beamed live on SuperSport TV.
On Saturday Bulawayo football fans will be in for a treat as the 2015 league champions Chicken Inn will battle it out with the Harare giants Dynamos FC who finished second in the league last season. The match will be entertaining as both teams will be eager to prove their worthiness to each other. The match will be played at Babourfields and will be screened on SuperSport TV at 1500hrs.
PSL debutants Border strikers will travel to Kariba for a date with ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium. The Beitbridge soccer outfit will start their PSL campaign away and will have to prove the match will prove their mettle when they clash against veteran coach Sunday Chidzambwa‘s charges at 1500hrs.The match will also be shown live on SuperSport TV.
Norman Mapeza will be at home against Tsholotsho FC at Mandava Stadium. Last year Tsholotsho survived relegation by a whisker, so hopefully they have pulled up their socks as two teams will be relegated this season.Platinum FC will probably be not lenient as the top post has been elusive for the past seasons at a narrow margin.The match kicks off at 1500hrs.
Two newly promoted teams will battle it out the same day at a venue to be announced. Mutare City will be receiving Ngezi Platinum Stars and they may not have found a proper home ground yet.ZPC Kariba used to travel to Harare for their home matches before Nyamhunga Stadium was fit for PSL games. The two sides will not find the game a stroll in the park as newly promoted teams are always with vitality in their first season in PSL.
On Sunday Caps United FC clashes with Chapungu FC at National Sports Stadium. Caps United FC will be at home and with their contingent of veteran
players will be eager to upset Chapungu FC and put a bright light in their PSL top spot campaign. The match will be played at 1500hrs. Hwange will host Highlanders at Colliery Stadium at the same time. Hwange are a power house at home but a date with Highlanders prove to be tricky as the latter has be in drought of the PSL trophy for the past 4 years and are hungry for a win anywhere they will be.
Triangle will clash against Harare City at Gibbo Stadium at 1500hrs.Harare City after being knocked out of the Caf champions will not be lenient to the home side to Triangle United FC
